Team-in-Training is
one of the oldest endurance training programs in the world.
Since 1988, over 220,000 people have run, walked, biked, cycled
or skated as a way to raise money for the
Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society (LSS). Participants train for a chosen
event with the help of experienced coaches and enthusiastic
fellow teammates. In return, they pledge to raise a certain
amount of money for LSS. The amount of each pledge is set at 25%
to cover a participant's expenses and 75% to LSS for their
research, patient aid and outreach programs.
